Updated September 22, 2026. This notice covers goodsam.ai, the Good Samaritan Institute website.

Contacting the institute

The email link opens your email app. This site does not submit a contact form or process donations. If you send email, the institute receives the address, message, and any other information you choose to include. Please avoid sensitive personal information.

Hosting and external services

Vercel hosts this site and processes technical requests needed to deliver its pages. Links to Spotify, Doug Liles’ contact hub, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Little Heroes stories

Little Heroes stores completed story IDs, reading counts and completion dates, and music and sound preferences in your browser on this device. These records are not sent to the institute. The app does not ask for an account or a child’s name. You can clear reading progress in Parent mode or remove the app’s stored data using your browser settings.

The browser also caches the story pages, artwork, fonts, and app files for offline reading after a successful first visit. Music and sound effects are generated on your device. Hosting still processes technical page requests as described above.
